I need some help deciding where to hunt this year. Me and my wife just had our first child a few months ago, with that said my hunting is going to be very limited this year, as far as trips go.

So I've got 3 days in mid October to fill the freezer. So my question is given that i only have 3 days to hunt, do i go to grand forks, a place i know fairly well and have never left empty handed. Which at the time had a WT doe opening with a bag limit of 1 or do i go a bit further east and hit region 4 with a WT doe opening with a bag limit of 2 does?

my goal is just to fill the freezer.

thanks for the help

Grand Forks is closer for you. You should be able to fill 2 doe tags in either place. Good luck

Since the limit for WT does in the Okanagan is 1, not 2 like the Koots, you could fill a doe tag in Grand Forks then take a quick trip to Castlegar, or get a doe and a buck near Grand Forks..I'd suggest takin a doe on someone's property if ya have a bow, man they are everywhere in town in Grand Forks..
