Mud Creek washed out

Just a heads-up for anyone planning a long-weekend camping/scouting foray up the Squamish River valley: Mud Creek has blown the road out at approximately 22 km (was 33.5 mile until we changed to kms this year).

We had to back out today as the material is still soft and moving but expect to begin repairs tomorrow and have it opened for Tuesday morning.

Thanks for the heads up. Did this happen last nite? So they changed the signs out, did they leave the old mileage signs up? Gonna be hard using km as reference on the road.

The old signs are gone. It may have been the last FSR in BC that was still delineated in miles. Also the miles started at the beach and the new km signs start at the end of the pavement.

The washout happened last night and it was a major. We may have a track through it by Sunday but no guarantees.

Any update on the wash outs on this FSR? We are planning on heading in that way if the road has been repaired. I checked on the fsr regional page and it says they are being worked on, 4 x 4 only, we are looking to get into the elaho drainage. Any info would be appreciated.
