Palliser River/Albert River Washouts

Good Day all,

I tried to contact the Ministry number to get an update on the condition of the Bridges in this area, and if its still not passable. No luck. To be specific, we want to be able to head up to the Albert River Vehicle closure area.

If someone has an update, I'd appreciate it. Now making alternative plans for other areas in 4-25, if this area is still out at end Sept.

from what i have heard the first bridge is still out at the campsite. canfor has been focusing on the white river due to a lot of timber down that they need to get out. No idea when they plan to go into the albert

Thanks for the info guys. And thanks to those who PM'd me info. My partner spoke to a fellow today that said there will only be one bridge worked on this fall. But the way things look, the Albert is and will be a no go this year. By the looks of things, the upper Palliser may be as well. A piss off as we had a good backpack hunt planned in this area. Oh well, time for plan B.
