Leupold spotting scopes ?

Anyone familiar with the Leupold 12-40 x 60 ? IS there a difference between the regular and the HD models ?

Not much if any. Certainly not for the price difference. Got one of each. If I had to do it again I would get something with more magnfication though. They're not much good for aging sheep beyond a couple hundred yards. Or maybe it's just my old eyes.

X2 on getting a more powerfull one but they are great-don't need HD one.
