First day of gos Bull Moose, saw several in the back of pick ups by 7 am.

Went home by the back road by work thru to Jackfish, saw EIGHT hunting camps, chatted with all of them, most were from the Island, Surrey, Lower Mainland, and McCleese Lake, and the one successful hunting party were from Dawson Creek. Damn, nice moose for a 17yr old. Awesome that the season is going! Congrats to all who are out there.

Rackem, were you on the chetwynd pulpmill road? I have friends that setup there at about 3 or 4 km mark. I haven't been with them on that trip for a number of years. I liked it better before the road was turned back into a haul road for the mill.

Todd and Matt from the Island? I heard Todd got one last night. He seems nice, kinda cute. :)

It was tough going where we were. In 4 days, between the 6 of us hunting fairly hard we didn't even see one bull, just cows and calves. And grizzlies. Lots of grizzlies...

There was one other hunting camp on that road but they pulled out after a couple of days so they weren't impressed either.

Her's a pic of #1 Moose..opening morning.
If I could figure out how to do multiple pics I would throw up a pic of #2 moose from the 17th.
The first one dressed out at 285lbs,the second one dressed out at 608lbs.

Ok so you have to use tags around the link to your images. So for example [ I M G ] http:// whatever your link is [ / I M G] But without space inside the brackets.
