My Daughter's 2010 Bear Is Back

Picked up my daughter's first bear yesterday and got it on the wall this morning. Ray Weins did exceptional work. We are very pleased with how it turned out. I'm blown away by the size of it. For size comparison that is a 55 inch screen below it. Should shut up the keyboard cowboys that doubted the bear was a 7 footer.

Yup, she shot that the big boar with an ol' Model 99 with iron sights. She made it a goal to kill a giant for her first bear and that year we passed on a ton of bears before she settled on this one.

Also got my 2012 lynx back yesterday. Just went with a soft tan and have it hanging.

Geez, Dana.. That sure is a nice looking tv you have there. I suspect it's got very low hours on it judging from the incredible mounts and shed piles surrounding it!

Yup, the TV doesn't get used all that much. Would never have a big TV like that if my wife hadn't of won it. Was a pain rearranging the trophy room to accommodate it. I did threaten to sell it when I set it up. ;)

Yup, we didn't get a lot of hunting in this spring. I'm sure a bear or 2 will probably hit the dirt this fall.

Thought so Dana, I have roughly the same rifle sitting in my cabinet that was my great uncle's, don't hunt with it anymore, but come to think of it, I really should. Your lynx looks a bit hungry, but I like it.
