I was thinking of getting a Meopta spotting scope, specifically the Meostar S2 82 HD. Anyone know where I could find these in Canada? I found a BC company called Bushcraft Canada but have never heard of them. Anyone have any info on this Bushcraft Canada or anywhere else I might be able to find these? Also, if anyone has any input on the quality of these optics that would be great as well. Thanks.

I don't know of any Canadian dealers, but CamaraLand NY carries Meopta. I have never dealt with them directly, but they get high marks for customer service from those who have.

Precision Optics in Quesnel carries Meopta. In the last 2 years I have bought a Swarovski spotting scope and rifle scope from him. Great service and I could not find better pricing anywhere. I have the Meopta Meostar HD 10X42 binos I picked up on Ebay for $700. They're basically equivalent to the Big3 for a lot less money, and I've had a few people with Swaros and Zeiss compare their binos to the Meoptas. They're a quiet Czech company that uses the same methods as their neighbours in Germany and Austria to make top quality glass, you're just not paying for the big name. I see that spotting scope is on for $2200 on Amazon and the like, not bad but I think you can do better...

I've been buying my optics from eagleoptics.com. It not canadian but there prices can't be beat and I usually received my items in a week. Last purchase was a ziess spotter that I got for 1400$ instead of 2800. They sell meopta at a good price.

The Cabela's Euro/Euro HD binoculars and Spotting Scope is made by Meopta. The reviews are mostly good but haven't seen them for myself.

Well I talked to Omer of Precision Optics. He gave a way better deal than anyone else so I decided to just go for it. Should have them in about a week. I'll let everyone know how they are.
