Some salmon got left in the smoker too long. Do you know any ways to moisten it up a little?

Spray bottle. Give it a misting . repeat. Works good for my jerky.

You could chop or blend it up with some other stuff, like mayo or cream cheese r whip cream, to make it into a mousse or spread.

Would canning it make it more moist? I know when I can mine, it comes out a little more moist.

I have done this. Blend in it in with cream cheese, makes a great dip for crackers!

if you vacume seal it , add a very little bit of watered down maple syrup before sealing and keep sealed for a week or so , then enjoy. doesnt bring it back completely , but it makes for a more enjoyable snack.

Depending on how dry it got vacuum packing it with some moist fish (smoked) will really help as it will even out moisture wise throughout the package. Don't freeze it for 3 or four days only refridgerate and it should bring back the moisture. Next time less boozin while your smokin fish! Haha
