Are sako optilock bases and extra low rings going to be too high for a vx3 2.5-8 x36?

I just purchased a sako 85 finnlite and a vx3 2.5-8x36. Am wondering what peoples recommendation would be for mounting scope? Caliber is 243win.

I I use Leopold ringmounts and optilocks. They both are good. I put Leopold on my 7 millimeter sako 85.I had them lapped and they are a lot lighter

They won't be too high. The Sako bases are tall and even the extra low will allow a scope with a large objective bell to be mounted. The Sako www site has the info you want - but in short the x-low will work with that scope.
