What's your first hunt of this season?

Now that all the LEH is done and we've made our plans, what and when is your first hunt of the season? I realize there are already some sheep hunters out there. But the most of the season is still to come. Mine will be mule deer opening day. Counting the days now!

Mulie Bow season Sept 1 close to home and then region 8 Elk for the week of opening. If unsuccessful that week will hunt region 8 elk everyday till one is down or the season is closed.

Sept 10th I'll be looking for a bighorn ram with a goat tag in my pocket (and a handful of other tags) and after that I'll probably hit some elk locally here, chase some goats, etc.

I havent got my LEH paper in the mail, think I need to contact some people to find out where the heck it is as it sounds like a lot of guys locally already have theirs.....

Gonna be staying local for the most part, hope to get out deer hunting a bit in sept, but also having a baby right around then, so saving most of my credits for the local moose hunt LEH come Oct.1, I expect to have the group putting the first moose down Oct 1, and the second moose Oct.2, don't want to drop em both on the same day...thats way too much work! Then its waiting for the doe draw come nov to take the 3 year old out for his first successful hunt, and then wrap it all up in sept with the bison draw.
