If I ever shoot a ram this will be the LAST place I ever post a pic. I'm not sure why but it always seems like every Ram thread goes sideways. I hope some others post up some pics tho because I like seeing them and I hope it stays on the tracks.

we as a group with the backing of the mods need to put an end to that crap. Anytime anyone calls down anyone for harvesting a legal ram we all should be flaming that asshat, and they should be punished via time out by the mods. History is just that, don't mean it needs to be carried forward

hmmm not sheep only...have 6 photos of grizzly bears harvested this year that all hunters refused to submit the stories and photos due to comments of a negative nature...not a good portrayal of the site...

I can't stop thinking some guys are skinning or packing heavy load right now!!! I'm about to leave soon.

Very unfortunate some guys won't share their stories and pictures! My advice be proud of your accomplishment, we all enjoy stories on the forum and never mind negative comments.

Agreed on both points there!! Haha.

I cant wait to get out and would love to be in the hills right now. Maybe next year on opening day I'll make it out!!!

As for posting pics, I could care less what some azzhat has to say about my accomplishments. Same way that I am proud to share them and not worried about anti-hunters not liking it. So many guys on here that support eachother and like to share stories, so its a shame that guys arent posting. All a guy can do is enjoy the ones that are posted and look forward to the next ones!!

Fall cant come quick enough!

That really is a shame. A few bad apples makes us all loosers

We established a policy to deal with the problem of people hacking on legal hunts. We have issued infractions and bans to people that can't keep from being derogatory. We need your help though, so read the sticky about illegal rams, nanny goats etc. then report violaters. Thanks

Some people need to grow a thicker skin. Who cares what some think? Post it up for those that appreciate it.

some of the threads have gone so sideways, Im not surprised that some people wouldn't bother. For 1, they have already gotten their joy from the hunt and the harvest, secondly it takes time and effort whether its a short or lengthy write up on HBC to share your experience. So why would someone put in the time and effort simply to get thrashed by some asshats on the internet. I totally understand their point of view, and we as a community need to ensure that that doesn't happen. Theres a thread just the other day of someone asking for advice and getting flamed for it. We all need to help squash that kind of stuff.

Geez, for a minute I thought this was another of those dam dodge truck threads. Whew, that was close...
I guess some think that bragging rights are not worth the flames when it comes to sheep or goats for that matter. I certainly don't blame them. If it is an outstanding ram, it can be written and posted to the Outdoor Edge or BC Outdoors, one might even get some coin for submitting a story.

Don't blame them same reason I stopped posting pictures.

hopefully people will not be afraid knowing the community and the mods will send the loosers packing

Not my pick but a buddy just got back from a success. Don't think he hangs on the Internet very much.
