I purchased my first trail cams this year. Finally got them out the first week of July. I am new to the area, but had a idea of a spot I wanted to check out. I definitely under estimated the time it takes to find a quality spot that I wanted to put it! Well as dark was setting in I just slapped it to a tree on a game trail, but not a ton of fresh sign. Even so I could hardly wait to check it! I let it soak for 2 weeks and was disappointed I only had 8 hits, couple of does, an ear, and a few blanks. I spent a little more time and found an area with some better sign.....Hope to find my 6 point when go check em again next week:-D This trail cam thing has a potential to be very addictive!

I hear ya! Just got my first t cam this summer, totally addictive! The excitement of walking up and seeing 10, 20, 30+ photos on your cam, is the best!! Once i had like 100+ photos, and only a couple moose on it, turns out the wind blowing the saplings over was setting it off, just something i thought i pass on, Good luck on your 6 pt!

I am no expert on the subject, but I wouldn't buy a stealth again. Spy point will probably be my next.
