7-36 GOS what can I expect?

I have never done a Aug. hunt in this area, I usually hunt lower later. What are going to be my major concerns hunting this area this early? Heat I know is a big factor, planning on bringing a cooler trailer, bugs I am thinking will be a problem, how bad? any tips, hints, you can offer I would great.
