my brother is working in pt. mcneil.
I was just there a couple weeks ago.
a 65 lb king and a 250+ hali were caught while I was there.

where you staying?
telegraph cove is gorgeous.
and then there's alder bay resort which is way more laid-back.
a great launch and rv parking, etc.

the fishing was best on the north side of Malcolm island.
right in front of the slide.
but most the boats congregate a bit west of there.
pretty easy to get hali's right off the lighthouse also.

if you launch at telegraph, go past the first launch and up to the left.
there's a new, larger launch over there.
just go in and pay at the little kayak rental shack.

as you go out of the cove, look down in the water.
there's mini jellyfish everywhere.
they are so cool.

and we saw whales every day, and literally hundreds or thousands of dolphins/porpoises.
