I"m putting this pair out on Saturday, Uway VH200HD. Have it set for HD video mode 20 second capture so it will be interesting to see what it captures in a few weeks from now.

Bushnell Trophy 8mp cams.. if you look around, you can find them for under $100.

I have Bushnell, Spypoint and a home brew. A buddy and I are splitting those cheap Simmons at CT, after the rebate they will be $70, if they don't work (and they probably will not......:-)), Bushnell will replace them as they have a 2 year warranty.

Best for all around pictures, my Sony P41 homebrew white flash, but it is hard on batteries. For all the commercial cams, I like Spypoint best. Canadian made, warranty is in Canada and you find them for $100 plus shipping. I have IR-5 and 2 IR-7 and they all take great picts.

Two places to check out;
Chasingame.com and http://www.trailcampro.com/. Both have great reviews on cams and lots of great info.

Cheers

My uncle and I bought a couple Wildview cams from CT. On sale they were $99 for the two. Batteries last more than two months, and if set up right I get a good amount of photos, and good enough quality to see what anything is.

All that cost me around $530.00, that's two cameras that take 8 megapixel pictures or HD video, two protective boxes, and two python locks.

They do sell less expensive models but I'm playing around with doing some short HD videos so I wanted good cameras to capture it.
