My son had a draw on the other side of the Fraser (in 3-32C) 6 years ago. We went together. It's beautiful country! I hope that you have a great time. My son had a ewe or lamb draw. The main thing that I'd say is get out there early while the sheep are grazing. If you see one, then you'll probably see 10 or 12 in a herd. If you are along the Fraser you'll need to be prepared to do a lot of hiking up and down the plateaus and gulleys. It's amazing how those critters can disappear and re-appear. There are also some interesting bits of history in the area - old settlements, etc. We came across a dilapidated old church where we sang the Doxology, after which I declared: "There! It's still a church." We also saw a massive timber wolf. I'm probably not telling you anything you don't know already. Congratulations to your son! Oh ya, he got a dry ewe on the second day. Good times and great eating.

4 days till we leave for this hunt, what kind of weather should a person prepare for? We have about 4 to 5 inches of snow in the mountains up here already, looks like the Clinton area is a lot warmer

Hate to say it, but this time of year you can have anything from plus 20 to minus 20. You really need to be prepared for all possibilities. Nothing worse than having to abandon a hunt because you don't have the gear.
