Been counting down since day 90. Getting prepared though patterned out the new choke tube i got from a member on here. Cabelas trip this weekend to get a new laydown blind, a doz dekes, and a new call in the works right now, and shooting clays like crazy to get the hand eye back in good shape.
Got some new fields to hunt as well, and haven't called in sick yet so i have all my sick days to use for season.

We still have to wait 60 days here in the Cariboo, but it will be full bore once the sun starts to rise on Sept 15th.

Its getting disappointing that trying to get a stamp is almost impossible here in Langley if you work. The satellite post offices say they cant do. There is no option on there computer. I have to go to the main office witch is only open during working hours. Whole sale says they do get there stamps until October. I guess early goose season might be a no go just because of trouble getting the right papers..

My son and I picked ours up on Saturday. We have had 2-300 geese in the field in front of our house for a week or so. They just moved on on Sunday. Hopefully in 2 weeks they will be in another close field in our neighbourhood.

I got mine two weeks ago at the post office in the seven eleven in Maple Ridge on Laity and Loughheed. No problem walk in, ask for it, pay and leave.

its only a Few days till hunting season is in full swing here in Kamloops, and i could not be more excited, Ill definitely be in a swamp somewhere on opening morning lookin for ducks or geese. then all day for grouse and rabbits, and an evening duck hunt to top it off right.

Good luck this weekend on the goose opener. I won't be going out as 1) I injured my hsoulder this past week and can't hold a gun up properly, and 2) a good friend is getting married in the afternoon and can't miss the wedding.
