Just finished a 9 1/2 week shift in Cambridge Bay, Nunavit and decided I'd share a couple of pics here. First one is the first Lake Trout I've ever caught. Not a monster by any means but cool non the less. I caught this fish on June 5th of this year through the ice. Never would have imagined that I'd be ice fishing in June.

This is the biggest of many Arctic Char I caught during my shift out there. Again, not a big fish but put up a spirited bout on light tackle and was a good eater. This fish was caught in the river that flows out of the same lake that I caught the Laker out of. It's amazing what a couple weeks of warm weather can do to the landscape. Not to mention 24 hours of daylight pounding on the ice and snow. This Char was caught in the first week of July if I remember correctly.
