Anyone recommend a good taxi in kitimaat. Looking to get a nice bear rug done and need to find one. Smithers or terrace are also options. I don't mind paying for good work. Thanks

There a excellent taxidermist that lives in the cable car subdivision, of Kitimat His name is Jan Sorge check out his work he has amazing display there. PM me if you want and I could take you to see his work.

I agree with Warren. I would take a good look at the work done by North Coast (Jan), before you use them.

Go take a look at jans display he's awesome at bears all my stuff goes there.

But also mentioned Clint moon in smithers does unreal work also.

I know Britton,he`s expensive,lengthy and rude.Have a look at the bear mounts at the Igloo before you take it there,pretty funny looking bears.The guy I always used was Peter Martinson in Terrace,hands down a bear artist.Bears are extremely hard to get the face right on,Peter has done several for me and my hunters over the years.Reasonable price and the critters are so lifelike.I lived in Hazelton and hunted and guided bears there for 15 years,met all the Taxis.(except for Clint Moon,he set up after I moved)

Peter got out of the business about 10 years ago . . . took up flying chopper for a while.

Take it to Clint or his old man. Very nice mounts, I would definetly look towards the east of Terrace.
