6-9 maxan lake

no draw this year and want to try something new. Dont need spots or moose info but wondering if anyone can tell me if road conditions and access in October are ok and if sites at this lake are ok for a wall tent. thanks for any info available

There's good access on the roads depends on logging activity and that area gets hit hard by FN,so and locals but there are moose there.

Easy assess and good camping spot. It does get hit hard in the open season but there are moose around. Char fishing is closed in maxan lake, but if you like ling cod, it's the best ling fishin around!! Throw a chunk of trout on a hook cast it out for the night, fresh ling for breaky!!
there is a outfitter on maxan, but he's down the lake a ways, nice guy tho he shouldn't bother you.

I did some work up the maxan and augier FSR's before I moved from Terrace. Had I not left that is the general area I would have hunted GOS. Always saw moose, as mentioned it may get busy during GOS, good luck!
