Hi,
When is the earliest date that you can start buying the duck stamps for the upcoming waterfowl season? Yes I'm eager ;) Don't laugh!

A quick google search would have told you August 1...

No problem, glad it just wasn't me. I tend to get back into town late in the season and it's hard to get them stamps.

I didn't get my core till end of November so it was really tough to find a stamp that late in the year.

Don't need a license to buy the migratory permit, just to let any new hunters know.

Check with your municipality though to make sure you don't need a special area permit.

If you're hunting in the lower mainland, get the Fraser valley special area permit as well. If you're hunting a couple regions on Van Isle, you need the Gulf Island stamp.
I tend to find Duck Stamps in the least likely Canada Post locations. A lot of the staff look at me and are like, duck stamp? What's that ? You mean collector's stamp?
