PG LEH Draw 7-16 C

This is the first time hunting this area for Bull Moose, any input would be appreciated on the area.. Any good places to start, set up camp etc.... The draw starts Oct 1st, thinking of going up a few days early to scout it out. Jet boat is an option also the Fraser River or McGregor or Polaris Ranger? Any help would be appreciated. That's a slam dunk hunt!! Seriously!! Moose in the rut up there is a freezer filler for sure!! Hope weather is good so you can explore the area while your moose hangs!! Man I know a few spots I'd head too if I had that draw!! Moosin

Good area,used to hunt it before they spliy it up.Otter Lake area was good to me,lots of wolves too! Gunner

Was just in there this spring for grizz. Gunner is right, Otter lake area is good has wide spots and gravel pits for camping. Some roads are washed out from river. The moose start up high and work down towards river later in the season. My friend guided in there for many years, and I know the old owner of the territory. You shouldn't have any problems getting a nice bull. It is fairly grown up now but you have the edge being able to call them in. I'm jealous. Good luck bud!
