Hey guys,

Anyone been up to Stacy Lake lately? I haven't been for like 12 years and just wondering what it is like up there now.
I was thinking of taking or my wife and kids up there for the day for a little R & R and maybe some canoeing. Is there any beach areas?
Does it get busy up there?

Also as a back-up plan I was also thinking about Jones lake, but I have never been......................what would be a better option, Stacey or jones?

Any info would greatly help.

Thanks

Paul

The road to jones is apparently pretty rough these days plus there is active logging up there.

i was up at stacy lake a few year ago and it was just a mud pit along the shore, if u go to jone bring a trap for the cray fish, we fish for an hour and cought about 17 of them :)

There is no beach at Stacey. A mud pit as noted above is correct. And the last few years, it has been very busy on weekends. It is not really a place for young kids. We haven't been up there this year so I don't know about current conditions. Jones has a sandy beach depending on how high the water is.

Didn't see any, but I didn't spend time on the river. Was up at the lake.
