If you research a recipe and buy the materials I can build you some. My son and I are working up a load for his .270 win right now. Send PM if interested.

call me nieve but whats the purpose of managed recoil ammo? a 270 doesn't seem to be a bruiser to me. No harm intended, im purely curious.

Some people are sensitive to recoil, or are small statured and makes it uncomfortable to shoot.

Easier to train a new shooter to shoot than them not to flinch and then train them to shoot.

Ask Eagle Eye. He loaded some .270 reduced recoil for my son when he was 12 or 13. I am so glad and thankfull he did that for me. Now he's 17 and has no flinch and still shoots and loves his Tikka M65 in .270. It's one of those "old fashioned" rifles with a blued barrel, wood stock, steel removable clip. No plastic !
I still have a box or two that I'm not going to use any more.

thx for the replys. Wholesale sports didn't have a clue what I was talking about, cabelas. ca was back ordered and plus some local shops but no luck. So a friend in Vernon found me 2 boxes at dels. looking forward to see how they work next wknd. Glassman, the only thing I am concerned about is I have a browning 270 , ss barrel and synthetic stock. Its quite heavy for a 270 , so friend of mine is going to bring up his wood stock blue barrel 270 to see which one would be more comfortable for my son. Kevin
