Lets me start with the introduction of this this years hero. His name is Justin Hall and served as a marine in Iraq and fell victim to not one but two IED's. The second one happened while on the first patrol after healing from the first IED.

Let me say what a great young man to have in camp. Justin could not get enough of the dog hunting, wanting to hunt dawn to dusk with the dogs. In 6 days hunting we treed 10 bears and bayed up 4 large boars.

Justin ended killing a toothless old boar for his first one which green scored 19 3/4" and squared 6'8".

The second boar, was one in its prime, 5 or 6 years old with an 18" skull and squared 6'4, both bears had prime hides. Justin left for Oregon with two beauty hides and a pile of bear meat. We killed his second bear on the last day after passing up some smoker boars holding out for a colour phase. Last day, last hour we got luck and treed a mature boar and filled his tag on a black one.

I saw a while back on your website that you take part in the wounded warrior program. That's top notch in my opinion, and fine bears to top it all off.

EvanG, I don't work with Wounded Warrior Program.
Wounded Warriors in Action is a different foundation. A much better organization which does not spend 70% of donations on administation and advertising.
All these heros have been wounded in combat, this is much different then WWP.

my mistake... either way good on ya for doing it.

Unfortunately alot of people make the same mistake and donate to the wrong one. I often hear from people "I saw the show you did and donated to Wounded Warrior Project oops!!!"
