I am just at the beginning phase of planning my 2 week fall hunt and am looking for a bit of advice. Last year I hunted 7-24 for 10 days and this year want to change it up.
My initial thought is the north part of 7-3. My primary target will be GOS Goat, but deer and moose would be great secondary targets as well. I have never been through that area so I am hoping someone can help me out. My plan is to drive /quad into base camp and then hike into a spike camp for a few days. If that doesn't work than back to base and up to another spike.
Not looking for anything specific, but maybe a valley to either avoid or look at more closley, or just some general thoughts on the area.
I am also thinking of sometime around Oct 7-25, providing I don't crap a lucky clover and get my Moose LEH at my cabin.
Any thoughts or advice is as always, much appreciated.
