Just curious if anyone has used one of these tents, was thinking of picking one up for late season quad hunting where weight and room would be a issue for 2-3 guys ... Thanks SEMF

I was seriously looking into a wedge tent but decided against it after i realized the lack of head room. I was also looking for something lightweight since i would be cinching it down to my pack horse, so i decided to go with the Teton Tent. I bought the 12'x12' with 3 ft walls. I used it last season for our elk hunt, and two of us had more than enough room......easily fit another person in there. With all the added accessories i got i think i'm into it for around $1200 taxes in.

I have used one in the past. It served its purpose and we actually fit four in it - two adults and two teenagers. It was fine for sleeping but very little room for storage.

I bought it from an outfit called Reliable Tent and Tipi out of Montana. I just checked their website and they have both the 10x10 and the 12x12 on sale this month.

Good looking tent!

I've never used a Wedge, but I've spent some time in a Beckel EENA tent which is a great lightweight option for the back of a truck or a quad hunt. You lose a bit of room due to wall size, design, etc. but overall its a nice design and very easy to set up and take down. Great mobile camp and holds heat pretty well with the stove.

Also can be used in the summer with some great screen doors that allow air to move through it pretty good.

They distribute out of Castlegar, but they don't have a location to view the tents. They're actually based out of a location in Idaho.

That spike tent looks interesting for sure!

I like the idea of a light and easy to set up wall tent thats big enough for 2 guys. Keeps ya warm, easy to throw on a horse or ATV and can be put out of the way of a major road/route as well for security/privacy reasons.

That Wedge does look interesting too with the small pole sizes. Obviously floor space is a bit more limited with the walls like that.

Can always get a blended wall tent. Canvas roof, nylon sides. Nice and light, but building a frame from trees is pretty time consuming.
