Burnaby bear

This isn't really anything new as where I live in Burnaby (on the side of Bby Mnt) we get bears. But yesterday I was down at Burnaby Lake with my dogs and right in the middle of the parking lot Was a descent pile of bear scat. Then over toward the trail head it looked like a small pile that had been run over by a car. Maybe mom and cub? Anyway just thought I'd let everyone know. Here I am traveling all around looking for a bear and they are only a km from my house. lol

It was at te east end of the lake right near the horse stables

no hunting....thats why those areas are having bear issues

That bear has been in the area for 5 years I know of, they where chasing a sow and cub it around Cariboo and 16 th last Monday. Burnaby has a no hunting bylaw.

I saw one feeding in a meadow on 40th ave and 232nd 'ish', in S. Langley 2 days ago. They're everywhere now...

Haven't seen one in one in that area in a long time .Lots of deer some nice bucks to . man i miss that area sometimes after living there for 25 years

We have lots of Urban Coyotes in Burnaby & Vancouver too. Here is a coyote out during the day in Vancouver looking for food.

Ive seen most of mine in hunting zones , but then again I dont live in the city
