Bear at Work

Saw this fella at work today, sniffing around the fence around the dumpstesr and fryer oil bins at the restaurant where I work in Maple Ridge on river road. So funny when you go out in the woods, drive, hike, etc and then see a bear right at home! He moved on down the railway tracks after I went outside for a look, didn't seem at all worried by our presence.

No more sightings, just a little sign but he's being pretty sneaky.

Funny, he kind of looks like the bear in my yard of 232nd about 5 mins ago. Only bear I have ever seen around here, I laughed but my wife was not amused.

I live in Cloverdale, just work in Maple Ridge, but most of my staff live in the area. They keep coming in to work and telling me of bear sightings and encounters over the last couple of weeks. Over the past few years I have worked out there, this is the most bear activity we've seen. Seems to be lots of bears around the 232 nd and 240 th area, one of my guys almost hit one with his car up 232nd last night.
Wish there was a spot to bow hunt them in the area!
