On another note, does anyone have any pics of the "run of the river" project they are doing on the upper stave? I heard they are going to run a new set of power lines over to harrison?

Wonder if they will join up. Anybody from this site working on that job. Great way to find new hunting grounds.

If we are talking about the same thing, it's not so much a 'run of the river' as it is a dam. A co-worker goes up there quite a bit, and he says there is a massive dam that they are building.

Yes, the environmentally sensitive, low impact power project project at the end of the lake. It is about 35 km up the upper stave. And yes, dam sounds like a better term from what I've heard.

Completely new, never talked about. Like Sako said, end of the lake, and up the river 35K.

I don't doubt if there is one already up there.

They sure kept this quit. They aren't building a road, they have been barging everything up.

FYI - It's not a dam that stops the flow of the river. On all of these run of the river projects there are intake ponds that are needed. The structure described as a dam is just the intake. It is nothing like Ruskin dam.
