just wondering if anyone has been up north for their leh and if the elk are around? heading up on jan 12th

I talked to my contacts at the start of Dec and they said they had 3 1/2 feet of snow then. They haven't had that much in the last 5 years combined. But they said the elk where around. I have heard a lot of success stories coming out of the Ground Birch area. Good luck.

I heard its been a wicked year the elk are all over the place in the fields. Its not a problem shooting your elk, its a problem getting them out. We always used to just shoot them and then drive the truck out to them, now you need a snowmobile to get through the snow.
