Went to Fort St James area for a week with my Dad. Overall a great trip, saw lots of bears and other game. The wolf crossed our path in a cut block at 125 yrs, we had the wind and she didn't even have a clue we were there. The bear measured out to 6'3", certainly not the biggest bear we saw, and I may have passed on it earlier in the trip. Luck just wasn't on my side for one of the nice big cinnamon's that I had my eye on and at the eleventh hour on our last day it was a nice bear. As for this lynx, I just thought you may enjoy the photo. Cheers,

Great shot of a lynx. That photograph is harder to get, IMO, than both of the wolf and bear.

Islander,

Here is another of the same bear after we dragged it out of the bush.

#1 killer of all ungulate species is Bears! Both Blacks and Grizzlies. The majority of the predation takes place mid June through July during a 5 week period when the fawns, calves are just born.

Just got my trophies back from Ray Wiens. I'm really happy with how they turned out, although the dog was not too thrilled with all the attention something else with fur was getting.

Love the rug. Did the dog growl at it? Looks like my 2 year old when I tell him it's bedtime. Awesome trophies. Good for you.

Honesty, it's the first stuff that I have had done. So I have little to comparing it to, other than other peoples I've seen which I've never gone over with a fine tooth comb, but as I said, I'm really happy with his work and he seems to have a good reputation. I would certainly use him again.

Actually I though she make freak about the wolf, but she was pretty indifferent. As for the bear she was pretty jealous with all the "petting" by the kids and family.
