New Fawns

Saw my first mule deer fawn today in region 8. The little fella was still wet, looked like mom hadnt finished cleaning him up. Hours or even minutes old. Anyone else seeing the newbies yet?!

Oh yes! A new moose calf yesterday! Forgot about him!

Saw a newborn Fawn tonight. Region 6. Haven't seen and calves yet but have talked to people who have.

Saw a new one by the highway between kelowna and vernon today. Still looked a little wobbly

Twins and a single around Mt Woodside on Sunday. Twins were still damp and shaky.

Saw another today out of Sicamous. They are poping up everywhere!

Ran into a mamma and a wobbley fawn on a hike Sunday AM, so cute!

Saw a couple moose calves a while ago, pretty new but on their feet alright. Still confused though; one of em came up to my vehicle, bawling and almost face on the grill before I turned the engine on to back up and it ran off down the road to it's mother.
Couple days ago I saw a mule doe with two little fawns; didn't get a close look at them but she came pretty close to me trying to figure out what I was before she snorted and they headed for the hills.

Saw some fawns in region 3 a couple weeks ago.
