Any one see any black bear near PG eastern area? Want going there next week.

Black bears are out everywhere in full force. You should be in business.

Trench is probably good and green, but the side valleys have just shed snow. High run off of snow melt, and rain forecasted, equals possible washouts. Travel with care! I usually try the bowron next weekend, and bump into snow on east and north facing areas. I'll let ya know if I get out this coming week. Moosin

Was just out the pass lake rd, bowron, penny access, coalmine and willow north today. One black bear by aleza lake, one on the pass lake rd, along with a grizzly sow and her three cubs. Seen another blackie on the bowron fsr (north side of highway) other than that hardly even any bear scat to be seen anywhere. I am guessing another weekend or two for some heavy action
