x2 on tire chains and snowshoes. this past sunday i could only make it to 12.5km on the pass lake road. The was about a foot of compact snow beyond that. I fully expect to make it past that this weekend and leaving monday should help you as you will have people breaking trail in there for you. We have one 7-18 and two 7-17 tags in our pockets. we put in for 7-17 purely due to the access issue this time of year. I have no info on the Walker Creek FSR side. Good luck.

just popped into town. cant make it past 13km yet. buddy with a tracked quad came out with a grizz (outfitter). regular quads are getting stuck up there......only seeing small black bears along the river so far. good luck. snow is melting fast so who knows when you could drive further. sorry bro.

If the bear flops after the first shot don't put your rifle down and celebrate too quickly. Somebody lost a grizz this spring due to overconfidence and excitement.
