Float plane service to chilko lake?

Can anyone point me in the right direction of a float plane charter service that could get me into chilko lake for a backpack hunt? I live in the Fraser valley and am just researching different options at this time. I'm not sure which would be better, drive in with a boat or fly in.

It is a long drive, and a big lake which means you would have a fairly length boat ride, depending on where you want to go. I can't remember exactly, but I believe it was about a 10 hour drive last time I did it (towing a boat). There used to be a Beaver flying out of Tyax Resort - Tyaughton Lake - but I am not sure if they are still operating there. That would be a short flight combined with a relatively short drive. Either that or you could fly out of Whistler.

Probably find a pilot out of Pitt Meadows.Someone from pitt runs runs fisherman to Chaunagain lake which is in that area.

Flew with Mike Quinn of Whistler Air a couple times, but I don't know if he still flies there.

The float plane flipped last year and Dave decided not to get another plane. That was the last I heard anyway. I believe Mike flies the chopper.

You're correct about White Saddle (Dave) not getting another plane. Mike told me that about a month ago.. and Mike does fly helicopters.
