Yeah. Zero would be my answer as the money does not go where it was promised.

Care to elaborate on that statement 40 incher?

I was under the impression that the money raised from this permit and the out of province one that was auctioned off went directly to enhancement for sheep in BC ? or at least I hope thats where it goes !

Maybe 40inchers knows something we dont ?

Ha ha. Indeed I did. I know that relatively small number of BC hunters put in for this draw.

I too was under the impression that the revenue generated from these applications was used to enhance sheep habitat/populations in the province. Perhaps someone in the "know" can elaborate?

Why would you put in 10 draws when you can only get 1 extra sheep? Are the only advantages of this draw the earlier dates and no curl restrictions?
Doesnt seem worth it to me..

Its like lottery tickets I guess,I guess your odds of drawing one would change a little if you knew how many tags were being sold but I'm not that concerned about it,if I get drawn great if not no big deal !

I want to spend my money on something since I don't smoke, play bingo and rarely drink !

So if I'm helping out the sheep in BC it's all good by me !

Sounds good to me! I personally would rather spend the extra money on LEH's on gas to go get more animals, but if the money does go toward conservation then its a win win :D

I think it raises around $20,000 a year which means you have about 1 in 1333 chances of winning. Which means the kamloops lake ram is cheaper and better odds.

Yes, but hunting bighorns during the rut would be an experience.
