There seems to be a disturbing lack of grizzly hunt stories this. No one headed out yet or... :)
Hel and I drew a central coast draw again this year but due to the way her school courses worked out (April off, back at it in May) and my work sched, the only week we could get out was the middle of April. A bit early perhaps but you take what you can get and hope for the best. :)
So it was wheels up out of Port Hardy on the 13th and a short flight to Bella Bella. We headed out that afternoon with a friend who from Bella. We had 5 days of amazing weather and saw some incredible scenery but once again the bears declined the invitation to visit our home. Year 2, strike 2. Oh well maybe next year. :) Did eat enough prawns that I think I'm developing a carapace...
