Here are 3 fans from different areas you can see that Fan3 has very little white on the tips.

Hey, that's cool. What did you have to do to display them like that? Was a taxidermist utilized?

Just skin the bird and and stretch it out on a board pin the fan as wide as you want it,scrape any extra fat off and then cover the skin with borax or sea salt it takes about a week to cure.

That's cool... no turkeys anywhere near where I hunt. But I may try it with the right grouse this year
