My birthday present and first color phase bear!

Took yesterday off and told work Im going hunting for my birthday. Got the 10-4 from work and left 3am yesterday....lonng story short got my present at 8am and was home by 12 for lunch from the wife...I gotta story but who cares....here the pics.

Stats...Reg 3 bear. Male 5'7. inside speard of front paw is 5 inches even. Less than 100 yard shot with Browning Abolt Medallion 7mm rem mag with 162btsp hornady

Make the long story a little shorter.
I saw the bear clearly eatting on a old grassy road miles away with my eyes. Looked with my binos and knew right away this is the one. Know the area and knew exactly where to go. Drove the quad around and over the valley, through the thich and parked near the little creek. Took my rifle, binos and wind checker and knew when i walked around the bend i would be less than 100 yards away. Watched him facing away and eatting still and just waiting till he turned. As soon and he turned I shot, the bear did a little jump and ran down the bank about 30 feet. Back to the bike and drove to the bear. Winched him up the bank and thats the rest. First animal I had to winch and it was a little hairy. Bike was 10 feet away from a bank that you couldnt even see the end and couple times the bike was creeping forward to the bank. I leaned to take it easy and careful
