Hi, Im just curious about the limitations between the 5000 and the 7000 kuiu bags.

How far have people pushed the 5000 in weight and days out in the field and how far have people pushed the 7000 in weight and days out in the field?
Thanks

The 7000 I used for a 16 day back pack trip about 60lbs

Get the 7000. If you ever shoot something you wil be glad you have the extra space. You can get a weeks worth of gear in the 5000 but that's it to much room for much else. I have a 6000 and its not big enough IMO. Actually if your going to spend that much on a pack why not spend a little more on a Kifaru or Mystery ranch and be done with it? I have a 2012 frame and 6000 bag and it doesn't give me good feelings about reliability for a 10 day hunt, I'm just not going to risk my hunt on a carbon fibre frame and a nylon bag. My kifaru 7000 Highcamp with accessories is on its way.

GET A MYSTERY RANCH!! :-D. Extremely durable and they feel great on your back. Don't worry too much about the higher weight than the other packs. They make up for it in durability and in how they feel while carrying them.
