Just got my 5 point mount back from Bearhill Taxidermy, Dan did a great job.

:lol: Very nice and it looks well done! Don't mean to be personal, but what would something like that cost me if I ever get one to do? Also how come you are calling it a 5 point? It was my understanding, from those I talked to that you count only one side and don't include the brow tine. I know in the USA they count them all. Anyway good for you!

Muleys you only count one side without the brow.....whiteys it's one side with the brow.
And we're not in the USA so it's a 5 Point Whitey Buck.

I know how to count points where i live, it cost $540.00 plus tax.

Very nice deer and excellent mount. Yout taxidermist knows his anatomy. In what region did you get the buck?

The point count is more of an east-west thing than Canada-US. My relatives in Washington and Montana would call that a 5 pt but Ontario would say 10 pt.

Thanks for the positive comments i am very happy on how it came out with that torn up ear and all, that shed looks similar no question.

Very nice mount indeed!! I like the shape of his mainbeams8-) .
