Deadman valley fishing/hunting

Anybody been up that way? Was wondering if ice is off at vidette etc... Was hoping to head past falls and maybe try fishing fatox as well. We heading up around may 6. The bears should be around. What would a guy use a these lakes for fishing. thanks.

Can't tell you if the ice is off yet, but if you're tromping about in the woods around Vidette Lake and south of it this time of year, I've noticed it's a high tick area.
