So I was out hunting yesterday, and I was off the road about a kilometre and came across a half dozen lower jaws from deer. I was thinking it may have been from poachers or something because the terrain was extremely steep and you'd have to really want to hide the jaws to have hiked down where I was just to dump some bones. Thought it was weird that it was just the lower jaws too!

Cougar's living room, the cougar lives right there in winter, nailing deer after deer. The deer came down to lower elevation for wintering and who knows this? Mountain Lion, Puma, cougar. The deer trails he knows every inch, and has a fave spot on the trail where he kills the most deer in winter. These big mountain lions can eat a whole deer in a week.
The cougar drags it off the trail but the ermine steals the pecked over detached heads lower jaw and goes to where he can enjoy it in a steep spot.
