Is this worth the asking Price of $1000? I've seen pictures and it looks to be in really good shape. Also, I think he put "Sporter" by mistake. It's a synthetic stock and Stainless barrel.

I'd say no, its a $500 gun with a $200 scope.

I just bought a brand new Vanguard S2 Synthetic Blued 240 wby mag for 529 + tax from Prophet River Firearms,

How old is it ? How many rounds through it ?

Its around a $700 gun new (the blued version would be around $500 as mentioned above) ( I have the same rifle and like it!)

The scope should be around $300.

I think you could find that same setup for $1000 new if you looked around.

Depends on how new the rifle is I guess and how many rounds are through. Always hard buying a used rifle if you can't see it and shoot it.
