Strange Places.............

....to find deer.
About midday today, I was going up Columbia Street in Kamloops. And lo, at the intersection of Columbia and Sahali Terrace, three mule deer are coming up unto Columbia. As I passed them, you could see that they were intent on crossing the street. Of course, cars are zooming up and down at a good clip. I flashed my lights at the downhill traffic and brake lights were coming on. Sure hope nobody mid-road encounter.

They're fairly plentiful all over the city....and in weird places you wouldn't expect to see them, that's for sure.

I almost hit one last summer by Orchard park mall in Kelowna, last seem headed towards Timmy's lol

Had 4 walking thru our complex at the top of Aberdeen at 12:50pm Sunday. Wife spotted them and called me. We see lots in the evening or early morning but not usual at midday. She was surprised to see two of them take long leaks on the grass. "I didn't know deer went to the bathroom like that and how long they went" she said.
