heres a teaser to all sheep fans! My buddy just emailed me these pics, they are in his yard every day near chase! One actually saw its reflection in the basement sliding glass door, thought the other sheep was posing a threat and head butted it! Much to the sheeps surprise he found himself in a basement of a house with broken glass everywhere! I wonder if "sheep damage" is covered by house insurance???

Ouch on the glass door, but these pics are ok! We've watched them in the fall smashing heads and right along the highway just up the Columbia river from Castlegar. Needless to say a few have been killed over the years by cars and careless drivers. Many locals know and go to watch the rut butt.

Great pictures really like the one in the snow. Tell your buddy to take lots of close ups of there heads etc could help in identifacation if they go missing.

Nice, and all are full curl. The one on the right in the second picture gets my attention. The middle one is no slouch either. Keep them coming.

The one with snow on him is an incredible shot. I will be at my sisters house on Adams Lake for a few days with my video camera and may have to do a little scouting!!

Wow, nice shots. Tale has it that the herd at Chase suffered a major die-off due to blue tongue, and the herd will probably never be augmented due to lack of safe habitat, and low interest. These fellows may well be the last few, with non-too-many new comers ?? Are there many ewes in the area ?

Ill have to ask. Buddy said theres lots of sheep there, so i imagine so. He says theres more and more every year now so theyre making a comeback!

Kitimat Killer Are you not the one who won the Special Sheep Draw for 2006? or was it for 2007? What type of sheep are you going to be hunting?

Happy Hunting!
