Early Bear Hunt

Well unfortunately my annual bear hunt has been changed up. I just got offered a new job and have to take holidays next week instead of the end of may like usual. The problem is, up at my cabin where I normally hunt is under a foot or two of snow. I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of an area that has some snow free ground. Not looking for someones secret bear spot just a spot I can get out and hike around with a chance at a bear. Anywhere within 6 or 8 hrs of the fraser valley.

go to the island....or head to the interior the ywill be out in full force in the south interior by then

Thanks for the feedback. Weather looks like its warming up so hopefully it gets the grass growing in the sunny spots.

Hunt the area you know. why not stay at the cabin and run downhill to the green veggies ?

The nearest snow free ground (other than the odd patches) will be about an hour from my property. Makes for a lot of extra miles if Im out there for a few days.
