Well Nog and I have been boiling, scraping, picking and scrubbing for the last 3 weeks or so and I am getting pretty tired of it so I decided to try something new. He had given me a set of 'extra' Dall horns and I was going to leave them in front of the fireplace until a friend came up with a skin so I decided to do a full body mount. My plan was to use 2x6's that I have lying around to create a body, head over to my buddies place who owns an upholstery business and pad the frame then stretch the hide over. I had to build it slightly out of proportion because I wanted to make it so my 3 yr old nephew could ride it and still be able to grasp the horns.
Well, anyways, here is the finished product 3 days later....

Great Work, and a LOT better use of them than simply hanging another 20+ years in the garage rafters!
I'm certain your nephew will ENJOY! :-D
Cheers,

Thanks all. Nog more pics than I do. My daughter brought the 'skin' home. A $5 bargain bin item from Superstore and everything else I already had laying around so cost to me $0, the look on my nephews face when he gets to ride it, priceless. Have to look into wheels.....
If his nose wasn't so fat it would break the bridge
