Nice work pal! Looking forward to hearing about it. Got my 3rd exam today but my 4th is at 9am tomorrow. Should be done by 11. Gonna try and get out after that. Might need some expert calling from a teammate if I can't get it done. Congrats on the bird!

Well we got onto some birds tonight and put them to bed. We'll be on them first thing. Hiked into one of my go to spots tonight and someone popped a bird on my favourite bench. Oh well. Lots of spots to check out.

well its been a long three days, and we had a few turkey encounters but have come up empty handed, will be going out tomorrow morning for half the day or so I have exhausted all my local knowledge, if anyone has any last minute tips please PM me, thanks

Tons of action out here and just missed out on a big Tom yesterday afternoon. Had him at 65 yards for a couple seconds before he busted me. Last day here and then it's back to Castlegar until the end of the month.

we hunted hard for 3 1/2 days, first day we walked for the first 7 hours and as I sit on a hill frustrated and upset to see no birds, we were just about to head back to the camp and give up and game on I hear a gobble, after 45 mins of calling back and forth and a couple of distant sightings he comes close and I was a little impatient by this time he stuck his head up through some trees and I shoot (a little earlier that day I dropped my shotgun and the little bead at the end of the gun broke off, you know the site, so me being me thought hey its a shotgun I cant miss) well I shot low hit some branches but no bird. Day two was rainy but that didnt keep us home we hiked all day in the rain and with the turkeys spooked in my prime area I moved to other not so known areas saw a couple here and there but had no responses and we all know what spot and stalk turkey hunting is like, not fun. Day three was much the same, was a lot of fun, hunting season is not over and I will be out again, good luck to all

Well sounds like you had some chances at least. Sorry I didn't get to hook up with you guys, I had a few to many drinks at the archery shoot to be going anywhere.
Let me know if you're coming back this way at all though. Sounds like the birds are getting fired up again right now.

this last wknd and didnt even see a bird.Had a distant gobble fisrt time out,and chased a bird on
this last trip but didnt get it.saw deer,elk,bears,sheep but no turkeys.
